The 29th Atlantic Film Festival just wrapped up here in Halifax! Along with showing a ton of amazing movies both international films and features made right here in the maritimes, it also hosted a bunch of Gala's, Parties, Funk Nights and just plain fun around town! Here are some shots I got at the Opening Gala Party that took place at the Metro Center!
Megan came to me wanting to do a NoH8 shoot in hew crown and sash from being crowned Miss Nova Scotia World! How could I resist! NoH8 is a great campaign helping people to get equal rights in the United States.
Check out the NoH8 website to get information and see almost endless celebrity's lending their image to this great cause: http://noh8campaign.com/

I had the pleasure of working with Allison Wood again right before she moved to Toronto! We teamed up with make up artist Andrea McLean and hit the streets of Dartmouth! Two hours of roaming around in gutters and side streets while wearing very expensive shoes, changing in the car, keeping the wig from flying away and a constant honking of from the highway turned into an amazingly fun shoot with great results! I love taking advantage of the short Nova Scotia summer weather! I would really love to do another shoot like this one again, when I have the time!
